Discovered this through Facebook and impulsively bought and so happy I did! It’s by Rossana Hwang - I don’t know her hehe or her handle but found ig of the label on the box @pinkmixer. Sharing because her ensaimada is goood 💯 Classic! She also makes this variety with ube. While I am not so hot on mixing ube with anything (I love halaya but prefer it on its own), if you love ube combos, you might like this one! Definitely ordering more ensaimadas from this lady!

Banana muffin from Goldilocks c/o our printer lol. Puyatan hits with my partners in crime - props to them true angels u know who u r for keeping up with my walang tulugan hits the past week - for this first book project for the year written by an incomparable economist (4 books actually, 3 years in the making 😅) In fernez, masarap ang muffin na ito lalo na pag pagod at puyat ka na ha! Filling at malasa! Naalala ko tuloy ang Goldilocks chiffon cake nung grade school that we would always have at recess with Chocolait! Thank you Lord that we are almost done ... excited to see all these books finally come to life! 💫

Adobo at Essential Goodness for the Pilgrims, apparently by the guys behind Hey Handsome (but see comment of @rosjuanxi below). Google helped this semi-hermit find this all day breakfast place today. It’s in a hipster hostel on Makati Ave and the interiors are very trendy millennial! It’s probably even better at night when you can appreciate the skyline. A thousand bux (around P950++) can get you a salad + adobo with rice + a vegetarian main + 2 drinks.

Craving Armenian food (because of @bethromualdez and @livinlavialoca’s posts 🤤) ... but can’t get any here so will just stare at these pics from our Holy Land pilgrimage last year 😅 PS @cecileang Check out the beer! 🙌🏼

I keep going back to Jumong for my Korean fix. My fave there is the beef short rib stew. 🤤 So good. And I love that it is open 24 hours. Need to discover more Korean restos tho! Pls enlighten me - what’s your fave Korean resto? And what to order?
